Why should you listen to a couple of diaper-clad, drooling babies?

Here’s the deal…. by the time you get to be a grown-up, you’ve been exposed to all kinds of life experiences that have a profound influence on the way you see things. There’s just no way to escape that. Twy and I have been exposed to little more than stuffed animals and nursery rhymes and strained peas.

That’s ’cause we’re babies! Remember???

But that makes us uniquely qualified to be very unbiased and non-judgmental.

Once we realized these basic truths, we started talking to each other…. “Hey, how come if we’re only six months old we can see how screwed up the world is? How come a couple of little babies who don’t know the difference between macroeconomics and macaroni, or the difference between a teddy bear and a bear market are aware that the global economy is crawling down a dangerous path?”

We looked around at our peers. They all seemed more interested in where their next bottle was coming from than the fact that by the time we graduate from college there will be an army of old farts who can’t even afford their next Prozac. Our peers just don’t get it. That’s when we realized that our only hope would be to appeal to the old-farts-to-be. We might be able to convince them to help us. They might be willing to recognize the direness of the situation if we hinted around about who exactly they think they’ll be able to depend on to drive them to Starbucks when they’re in their 90’s.

Do you think the purple makes my hair look too red?

The first thing we had to do was figure out a way to get our ideas out there. Turns out it was easy — we googled “convert baby thoughts into text” and found a device that perfectly suits our needs.

Now here we are, ready to bring some fresh perspective to the discussion. This might be the first time in history that a baby has ever stood up and told it like it is. Until now, it’s never been necessary for a baby to stand up and tell it like it is. We’re not having a lot of success at standing up yet, but we’re sure as spit-up gonna tell it like it is!!!

Yep. That pretty much sums up my thoughts too.
